No part of the publication may be reproduced or transmitted in any form, or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopy, recording, or any information storage and retrieval system, except in limited quantities for the non-commercial purposes of scientific or educational advancement, without permission from the International Association for Food Protection. Online Access Policy

The Journal of Food Protection is published online via Ingenta Connect. Full-text articles may be accessed by subscription or pay-per-view. Food Protection Trends articles are posted at the IAFP Web site for free download by current IAFP Members or non-member pay-per-view access.

Full-text articles may not be released on other web sites (including PubMed) until 12-months after publication. In the case of authors whose research was supported by NIH or another funding agency with an open access mandate, the authors may deposit the final accepted manuscript on PubMed Central or a similar site as required by the agency for public release 12-months after publication. Permission to post the published article on other web sites (intranet and extranet only) must be obtained from IAFP through Copyright Clearance Center at copyright.com after the 12-month embargo period has expired.
